On behalf of the organizing committee of The 6th International Scientific Conference of Society of Iraqi Surgeons, which is going to be held from 23rd – 24th April 2026, in Babylon Rotana Hotel, Baghdad – Iraq, we are delighted to invite you to participate in this valuable conference.
This Conference will focus on recent advances and controversies in surgery, including evidence based surgical interventions, and will host a large number of doctors, participants, and experts to discuss the most recent advances in all conference fields.
A rich scientific topics are also planned to be discussed to provide a forum ideas for exchanging knowledge and covering the surgery line in all specialties as Strategies for Optimization of Clinical Care.

Guidelines for Abstract Preparation
- A concise abstract is required. English Language only, Abstracts should summarize the
contents of the article in 250 words or less. The abstract should be structured in the
following format:
(Background and Objective, Method, Result, and Conclusion, and it should be as a word
document).
- Font type: Arial, Calibri font size 11.
- Title, author names and affiliation should be indicated at the top of the abstract.
Instructions for Poster Presentations
- Poster presentations are in English. The poster size is max. 70 cm width and max. 100 cm
height - Title, author names and affiliation should be indicated at the top of the poster.
- The structure of the poster is: Abstract, Objectives, Methods, Results and Discussion.
- The text should be clear, simple and self-explanatory.
- All figures and tables should contain headings, labeled axes and legends. Font sizes,
should be readable at a distance of at least 1 m
- Font type: Arial, Calibri font size 11.
- Title, author names and affiliation should be indicated at the top of the abstract.

Conference Registration Fees:
Non Members, and Doctors who didn’t renew their membership: IQD 50,000
Members: IQD 25,000
Resident: IQD 15,000
Registration fees include:
